Rallymiles Challenge
|
|
The price is £55.00 per
person. The experience involves three laps-
one instructional lap, one practice lap,
and finally a timed lap. This takes
place around a dedicated special concrete
based loose stage at Elvington Airfield just
on the outskirts of York.
We will
teach you how to correct understeer and
oversteer, to balance the car with the
throttle, how to correct the car if you
loose control, as well as mastering the
art of using the handbrake around the
hairpins on the tighter sections of the
stage.
The
Experience :
-Safety and in-car
briefing, to explain the art of Rally car
driving.
-Helping to improve
your understanding of car control to
improve your driving.
- The three laps
described above (Instructional lap, practice
lap and timed lap around the stage) to put the
theory into practice and see how much you have
improved.
The Cars :
-Peugeot 206 Rally
Challenge cars (130 bhp).
-Ford Fiesta and
Ford KA Rally Challenge cars (130 bhp).
All are fully Rally
prepared competition vehicles with fitted roll
cages and hydraulic handbrakes.
This actvity will
take place on selected weekends throughout 2011.
Gift vouchers will
be posted out within 3 working days of receiving
payment and are valid for 12 months.
2 Laps as a passenger are also
available at £35 per person.
